Mr. Rakesh Taneja is the second-generation lawyer and General Practise Head of the Firm named Taneja Law Office started in 1976. With about two decades of extensive experience in Litigation and Contracts he has been handling legal briefs for several private citizens and businesses from across the globe before legal institutions in and around New Delhi. He has handled several high profile and challenging litigation before the High Court of Delhi and the District Courts in the areas of Family Law, Tendering, Company Law, Consumer, Customs, Civil, Criminal, Property, Matrimonial, Child Custody and Succession. He appears regularly before the Supreme Court of India and High Court of Delhi besides National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, National Green Tribunal, National Company Law Tribunal, Armed Forces Tribunal, DGFT and Enforcement Directorate etc. He also regularly advises and represents International and local clients on various aspects of the Contracts Law. His approach giving importance to prompt communication with clients and formulating legal opinions supported by judicial precedents and past reported authorities has always been appreciated by his clients.
